Committed to the celebration of individual accomplishment, Devine was created to bring a new level of quality and professionalism to amateur road racing events in major destination cities.

Devine was created to acquire and oversee amateur athletic events, particularly marathons, triathlons and road races. With the goal of building new events and taking existing events to the next level, Devine created the Salt Lake City Marathon in 2004 and the Chicago Big 10K. Since the privately held company was established in 2003. Devine acquired the Chicago Half Marathon and the City of Los Angeles Marathon..

Ideal weather and a loop course with a gradual mid-race incline followed by a downhill sprint to the finish line set the stage for exhilarating Races designed to set and break records, and shatter personal bests.

The excitement begins with the New Las Vegas Marathon Quality of Life Expo at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in December, where more than 200 exhibitors will showcase the latest in health and fitness. In another "Only in Vegas" experience, participants will be directed to world class restaurants offering discounts in a "call your own shot" Carbo Load dinner. At 6:00am on race day, participants will be part of what is undoubtedly the most exciting new event in the world of "destination marathons".
